Forthcoming translations

-Meaningful to See (zab lam rdo rje”i rnal ‘byor gyi khrid yig mthong ba don ldan) by Taranatha.

-One Hundred Blazing Lights: The Supplementary Commentary on Meaningful to See  (zab lam rdo rje”i rnal ‘byor gyi khrid yig mthong ba don ldan gyi lhan thabs ‘od brgya ‘bar ba) by Taranatha.

Since March 2017, I have been working on the translation, directly from the Tibetan text, of the five Common Preliminaries sections of these other two major Jonang commentaries. Transmission and guidance on the texts wwas from Chokyi Nangwa Rinpoche.  Meaningful to See was previously translated by Edward Henning and Cyrus Stearns (but neither have been published). I have not seen the translation by Stearns, but he told me he had completed one during a teaching on it by HE Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. The longer and more detailed commentary, One Hundred Blazing Lights, has not been previously translated or published in English, at the time of working on it.

The secret and profound instructions on the Kalacakra Six Yogas of the Completion Stage will not be translated or published for public use, and will only be translated and used for a one-on-one context between student and teacher, as requested by the Head of the Jonang lineage in Tibet, Jigme Dorjee Rinpoche in an official letter here.
